About me:
I have a Masters Degree in Fine Art from California College of the Arts and have created and freelanced in the San Francisco Bay Area since 2005.
On a personal note, I need to draw, paint, print and write. I’m not saying I just enjoy these things; it’s actually a requirement for proper functioning. It took some time for me to figure out that the creative act is an indispensable part of my life (and most people’s lives, for that matter… they just haven’t recognized it yet). Eventually, I figured out that the more I do it, the better I feel. I also love dancing. I was classically trained and still take adult dance classes. Honestly, I just love moving to music. Friends and family have noticed that I will shamelessly shimmy to any beat, anywhere. I’m also passionate about food and I consider croissants a major food group. Many of my favorite dishes call for sautéing things in lots of butter (bread, mushrooms, herbs, garlic… you get the idea).
I grew up in New Mexico, a lovely and truly enchanting place. I’ve lived in California for almost two decades, and I still think the Northern California landscape is like a fairy tale wonderland. I adore the trees, lakes and wildlife that surround my home.
Some other things I enjoy are playing the fiddle, reading sci-fi novels, and sitting in a sunny garden with my chickens and cats.
